Seventeen year old Gena was trained in the way of the sword by her father, a royal guard. Some time after his passing, she followed in his footsteps. Her dependability and skill quickly promotes her to the top rank of Knight, but tragedy soon strikes.
The king and the queen are both assassinated, leaving there young son, the prince, as the only royal member. Gena must keep this young king from any dangers, while also keeping the kingdom in an uneasy peace.

To make matters worse, she was sent to prison for treason. The day of her execution, her younger sister, Ramona, visited her. She came to mock Norah for being gullible and reveal that she and the crown prince conspired against her. To hear all this, the little will that was left of her was gone, and she was filled with rage and sadness. When brought to the guillotine, she shouted her curses to the whole empire and imperial family. The blade fell, and she took her last breath, but that doesn't mean her story ends there. By a miracle, she regressed to her 17-year-old self. Now she plans to get revenge on the empire and destroy it beyond measure. She has to be calculating as every move she makes change the future she once knew, but her need for vengeance will not be quenched, until everything is burned beneath her feet.
