Previously titled Ruin.

The universe ended not with a bang, but with a whisper.

Captain Kane commands a ship called the Saurian. Merely a bounty hunting vessel, they are not built for direct combat. However, on a mostly routine mission to perform a quick snatch and grab on an escaped, intergalactic convict, the crew of the Saurian gets pulled into the previously unnoticed chaos, as another captain has risen.

And this captain feels he should lead everyone...

And for the most part, he has already succeeded, leaving the burning question: How did they miss this?

My first attempt at sci-fi; I'm sorry if it is terrible. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks.

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

"Those aliens are not my concern, the Earth and her populations are. Now, Callisto of the Scout Regiment to Salutem, as a citizen of this planet and a soldier under my command-" "I stopped being a soldier a long time ago. And those aliens have done nothing to you, you didn't even know they existed until I told you about them. I joined this mission not because I was ordered to, but because I wanted to carve my name in history. But I will not mark my namesake as a murderer of the very first species we have found that is on par with human intelligence! If my legacy is to be the protector of those you refuse to acknowledge, then so be it." The room hissed and flowed with whispers and gossip between the different board members, like a waterfall being heard through thick earmuffs. The only voice to be clearly heard was Director Striker himself. "You are rooting for a lost cause, soldier. It is the manifest destiny of us humans to reach out and touch the stars. And if the only way to touch those stars is to sacrifice a few savages, then that is what we must do." Callisto felt her anger towards a man she once admired swell in her chest and wash through her veins with a burning fire. He was proposing mass genocide simply because he wanted what belonged to them. The wheel of history turns, but nothing is ever new it seemed. "Have you read a history book in your life, Director Striker? Manifest destiny is used a mere few pages before a genocide. It's not a motivation, it's an excuse." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fair warning: this is my very first original story so please be kind to my baby, she is a lifelong passion and a labor of love. •••COMPLETED••• •Please do not copy or post anywhere outside of these pages.

⚠️DISCONTINUED⚠️ this takes place years after starlight, angels fall. All of the Aphmau gang (well most) have kids now, The Aphmau Crew then come across an old "friend" and an old enemy what will they do? WARNING ⚠️ this story may contain cursing so if you feel uncomfortable with that I suggested you don't read. But if you don't mind cursing or don't like it but still want to read it. Go right ahead :) This story is kinda like a next gen story but not really it will switch from the OG crew to there kids. This also isn't canon to my other story "high school" since a changed, and re named some of the Next gen kids so that's just a heads up. The ships in this story are: Aarmau Zanechan Travlyn Garroth x Laurence Melissa x Lucinda There are characters who have kids but don't have there partner with them. Like gene. I literally had no idea who to set him up with so it will just be an OC Same goes for Ein. Other then all that stuff. This story isn't gonna be updated as much as I want. 2 of the reasons is that one. I am a TERRIBLE writer and I know what I am going to do lore wise and a little bit of fillers leading up to it. But I don't know how to actually write it down in words for it to make sense. And two with school starting up and also now that the holiday seasons are coming up I'm probably gonna be busy, or not motivated to write. Or with school. Which ever comes first 🤷‍♀️ With all that out of the way. I hope you enjoy!! :D

26 parts Complete

The ghost crew hear reports of the inquisitors causing trouble in lothal's capital. So they travel there in hopes of ending there terror. Ezra, Kanan and Zeb investigate the reported sitings whilst Hera and Sabine patrol the area and help to evacuate any nearby civilians. This is however a sinister plan to unleash a living nightmare on lothal. So the crew must act against the clock to bring this monster down before it's let loose on lothal. This sinister plan is created by the inquisitors in an evil attempt to spark fear on lothal and try to wipe out the crew for good. A friend of mine 'MercuryBoySW' is helping me with a good amount of this story so a huge credit to him for his collaboration ?
