It's 1808 in Hammersmith, England and Anna Fitzpatrick is 18-years-old. As a 7-year-old girl she was rescued by a strange man called the towns 'protector' from an awful blood thirsty creature. Now she's 18 the protector has returned, but who has he come to protect? And can she protect her heart, not only from danger, but from herself?
