Faith and her twin brother were your typical popular people at school. With Jack as their school's football captain, and her as their school's star volleyball and softball player. People viewed their lives as perfect... but it wasn't, especially not to her and her brother. Only a few people knew what happened inside those walls of that house. Faith and Jack made a promise to each other that first night of hell. The promise that they would always be there for each other. They have kept that promise for a few years. That is, until the police come busting in. Now they have to leave everything behind and move to their aunt's private school. Faith soon meets people she probably shouldn't be around. Everything was going fine until she got close to him. Can he protect her from her past that comes to haunt her? I guess, who cares? It's her life, her rules.

Hey...I'm Faith Taylor. I was just entering my freshman year of high school. Whilst doing so, I was starting new activities outside of school, which means new cute boys, right? I often find myself falling into spirals of drama and love, so it's no surprise when I fell into another deck of it. Surprisingly, the thing that changed my world this year were many simple--eh not really--promises. Will I ever find my way to a normal high school life? ••• "Hey," he smiled. "It's cool seeing you somewhere other than tennis for once." "Yeah, you too," I smiled back at Dylan. "By the way...I never properly thanked you for helping Matt back there, so...thanks." "Nothing less for the besties!" I laughed, yet he had a split second of disappointment on his face. Speaking of Matt, things were still kind of iffy from the football game, but as I looked over at Dylan's table, an idea popped into my head. "Hey, do you think my friend and I could sit by you guys?"
