Nuclear Love by CHSmithAuthor
6 parts Complete
When 18 year-old trust fund kid Quinn York's tourist shuttle to Mars unexpectedly crashes, he wakes up only remembering one name: Celeste. He knows he has to find her no matter the cost, even if he loses his own life in the process. Quinn discovers the world is changed however; the nuclear holocaust that caused the shuttle to crash also set the world in commotion. It becomes a "kill or be killed" life for Quinn as he does anything he can to find Celeste. To do so, he must survive cruel raiders, grotesque animals, and a new breed of mutated human survivors called Skulks. **PLEASE NOTE: This is a progressive book, meaning throughout the book, the main character will be presented with different options. A "Choose Your Own Adventure" if you will! It is up to you as the readers to determine the actions of Quinn York. I don't know how this story will turn out, and I'm excited to see what path it takes. Will Quinn be a fearless raider killer or will he become the most horrible human being on the planet? THE READERS WILL DECIDE - HIS FATE IS IN YOUR HANDS!!! **Please comment at the end of the chapter about which action you vote for to make it simpler for all of us. I will require a minimum number of comments/votes before moving on, which I will state at the end of the chapter. I will post a new chapter once a week, because I do have a busy life, and I will be doing several revisions on top of massive brainstorming depending on what options you all choose. So please be patient, and please "LIKE" my book to spread the love. Thanks and enjoy reading "Nuclear"

(This is my first fanfiction and crossover story, based on the YLIA × Love Live × Kowloon Generic Romance × Black Lagoon × Anime x Sims × Fallout × Metro x other post-nuclear franchises - where the worlds from each collide in a shared, shattered universe.) In a post-apocalyptic future scorched by nuclear fire, Kousei Arima and his Russian ex-wife already have the long-lost daughter, Karina Arima which now has been living in exile in China since childhood after her parents' bitter divorce, which caused her getting far away from Russia and raised quietly in the care of a Chinese family for six fragile years. But peace never lasts. One devastating day, everything she knew - her home, her guardians, her safety - vanished in atomic ash. The world she wakes up to now is a cruel echo: familiar places are twisted, overgrown ruins; streets once vibrant with life now hum with radiation and silence. To survive - and maybe, just maybe, find her family again - Karina sets out across the South China Seas. From Hainan to the shattered ruins of Hong Kong and into the tangled, and probably neon-lit ghosts of Southeast Asia, she journeys through danger, grief, and revelation. Alongside her Chinese companions, she searches for clues, fighting to uncover remnants of humanity amid a world that seems hellbent on forgetting it ever existed. And now, as musician wannabe which have potential to become survivor ranger have to turn old songs into weapons, Karina must ask herself: Can music still matter, when the world has stopped listening? Warning: This story features original characters (OCs), including Karina Arima, and includes mature post-apocalyptic themes. Expect grit, emotion, and echoes of the past. Credits: All referenced characters and franchises belong to their respective rights holders: Sunrise Inc. (now Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc.), A-1 Pictures, Madhouse, Arvo Animation, Bones, Studio Trigger, Bethesda Softworks, Deep Silver, Activision, EA, Paramount, WB, etc.
Vault 115 by serenefreakgeek
20 parts Complete
The scientists of Vault 115 know nothing of the horrors laying outside, waiting patiently for them to open their doors. Though they imagine, they hypothesize, they plan for the absolute worst. Creating super suits to protect them, whether from radiation or physical damage, they still feel as if they are not protected well enough. Centuries, generations, flitter by. Myths and hypothesis turn into facts and waiting for the inevitable. Frightened, scientists continue their studies, passing their knowledge from one generation to another, in hopes that perhaps they will find a way to protect themselves when the time comes to finally open the vault doors. There had been a counter in the main living area of the Vault, but as it counted down the time until the oxygen would run out, people kept getting worked up or scared. In response, the Overseer had it moved to the actual Vault exit, where only the Overseer had permission to go. As children growing up, we were always destined to be a scientist, to continue the research of our fathers and forefathers. We never questioned this, it was just the way things were. However, one day, two children were picked from class and taken away. They had never been seen again. All the other children in the class were confused, some frightened, some angry they had not been chosen. But no matter the emotions, it remained a mystery. A month passed, and two more children had been picked to leave the class, and they hadn't returned either. The children started to feel restless, and the parents of the missing children never said a word, only went to work and back to their rooms, never smiling. This month, the children flitter about the classroom nervously. This would be the day that they would take two more children, if they did it again. And, expectedly, the Overseer had appeared in the classroom. She calmed the children, then read two names off of her clipboard. And she read my name.

She's not Nate, She's not Nora, and there is NO way that's her kid....Waking up over 200 years in the future, post-nuclear war? Just a different Hell than she expected it would be. NOT a reader insert or generic Sole-Survivor. Basically my current method of therapy...
