Able to master every aspect of these powers this special few were gods in a devolved world, bending and shaping their abilities to their will be it through scientific pursuit, fantastical vision of megalomaniacal ambition. Dark motivations emerge, ambitions collide, and tools are unleashed as the battle lines are drawn. A race against time begins, with the very fate of humankind in play.

A young adult fresh out of high school is feeling anxious and lost. In the heat of desperation she goes on a small camping trip to her favorite spot alone. She hopes to relieve herself of her stress and anxiety but when she gets there what ensues next is far from her intended relaxation. Is she spiraling into madness or is everything happening to her real? It's a strange life, indeed. ~~~~~ This piece is from my creative writing class. I was hoping I could share it with others who enjoy horror as much as I do. I am by no means an experienced writer, it's more of a hobby than an aspiration. I'm more focused on art than writing, but I do find it quite fun. I know there are lots of errors, most of I'm too lazy to fix. I hope all you nonexistent viewers enjoy!

The science fiction is similar to the conspiracy of The X Files. Horror and thriller wise it is has a lot of the same genetics as IT and Stranger Things. But the characters have real heart, they will make you laugh and care about them when they struggle..or are attacked by thousands of brown recluse spiders. The highest levels of government are trying to conceal the panic and erase the stories of survivors. Typical 8th grade stuff.
