Elizabeth is the daughter of Franken Stein, the child no one knew about. She shows up one day to attend Death Weapon Meister Academy, but not everything is working out for her. Elizabeth's newly found weapon partner causes her soul to feel strange, a feeling she can't quite figure out. She gets close to the meister, Death the Kid, a strained relationship with her asymmetrical scars. Every time she asks to know more about her mother, her father avoids the question in some way. And there's also the fact Elizabeth is beginning to slip slowly into madness, just as Stein did once. Is there a way to overcome these problems? Is there possibly something more sinister at work in her life?
