I've repeated that so many times today. I'm new here at this high school. I just moved here from North Carolina. I'm now in Tennessee where it's not all corn bread and biscuits, but music, life, and energy. I didn't know that at first, but I do now. My music teacher taught me that and...well... A few other things. Consider this a warning. Things change in just a short while and so do the people you care about.

Whirlwind
Junior year, the year everyone says is the best. There's just so many things you can do as a junior in high school right? Junior prom, getting your driver's license, applying to colleges, etc. Well here I am, starting my junior year of high school and dreading every minute of it. Is it exciting? Yes. But at the same time it's scary as hell, it's the year that "everyone pays attention to," and it is just a lot of pressure to put someone under. "Do good, you can do better than that!", "Are you even trying?", and "Don't you realize how important this is?" are just a few of the quotes you will hear from teachers, parents, family, and even friends throughout high school. They say they're not pressuring us, but they don't realize how much they really are. But that's all beside the point. High school isn't easy and we all know that. It's not all bad though. Good things can happen, you just might have to wait a while for it to all turn around. It's the year that ended up changing my life, even though I didn't realize that until later.مكتمِلة
