Cal and Mare are captured. accused for high treason. Maven won't kill them, he wants them to watch the scarlet guard fall.
shade is determined to get his sister back. but when he meets Feyer and Adem, he's also determined to protect them. Feyre agrees to everything the king says. Lady Jacos. Lord jacos. It's all so wierd to her. But she finds a strange love for Maven.
