After they save the Spirit World Lucy accidentally breathes in Eclipse particles but they didn't take effect until after Natsu leaves for a year, Fairy Tail disbanded, and Aquarius's key is sacrificed. When they do take effect, Lucy's eclipse version is even worse than Edolas Lucy, even Zeref. One by one she also turns the spirits, even the silver keys and the keys she doesn't own, eclipsed except this time they remember everything and listen to Lucy. Only one spirit is not affected so they go to Earthland and gather back Fairy Tail to help find a way to change Lucy back before she kills anyone even thinking about Celestial mages, spirits, or even the stars.
