Wynter Symone Cole is only 14 years old. And she's already been through hell and back. With her dad beating her and rapping her. She is worry about her life because her father already killed her mom by beating her and she thinks he will do the same to her. She has no family members  to go to. 
Years later Wynter and her father moves she has to go to a new school with new people. She met this boy name August Alsina. He see her being bullied by other students and her help her. He wants to get to know her but she is so shutdown she doesn't tell nobody anything. But one day August see what is happening to Wynter and he helps her. Everything changes.
