The year is 1858. Fifteen years have passed since Valjean passed away. Marius and Cosette have been forced to flee to England when Marius is wanted dead or alive.
When they get to England, Marius and Cosette have a little girl, and later a son. They don't know it, but their little girls life has been forever tainted by the battle which happened so many years ago.
A Les Misérables fanfiction. Based 15 years after the story of Les Misérables ends and written from the perspective of Cosette and Marius' daughter.

When Marius falls in love with Cosette, Eponine feels bad for him because she knows that the girl doesn't like him back. Everyone who is familiar with the story of Les Miserables is familiar with the tale of Marius Pontmercy and his love Cosette. Their love story is able to cast a tiny glimmer of hope upon the tragic tale. However, what if the origins of their love had not been as bright as written down? Valjean has passed away before the young lovers had yet to lock eyes, leaving the young Cosette alone with feelings of abandonment and depression. Unable to cope with her father's passing on her own, Cosette decides to drown her sorrows in the bittersweet sensation of alcohol. One fateful night, as the pairs of eyes belonging to Marius and Cosette fell upon one another, would their hearts continue to be "full of love"? Deceiving Passion
I couldn't answer him. I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't think I could really say anything to him. I did not want to face the facts of what had happened, or the consequences I knew were soon to follow. I just wanted to avoid it all.
