Amara Patel is so not your average six year old, just like Taylor Swift is so not your average singer/songwriter. A refugee from war torn Syria, Amara's world is constantly encompassed with struggle. When her dad, her only living family member goes missing, Amara takes it upon herself to find him which forces her to become independent and consequently discover more about herself and the world around her in the quest to find her father.

But as much as Amara isn't your average six year old, her father isn't much different, which leads to Amara involuntary  becoming involved in the activities of the Central Intelligence Agency.

In the midst of all the madness that her world has morphed into, a run in with a very special Taylor Swift could possibly change her life for the better and help her deal with her chaotic life, but will everything go as planned?
