This collection of my poetry is my way of honoring the passing of my great grandmother, who passed away in 2016. She was 92 at the time of her passing. I miss her very much, but I am glad to know that she is with her husband now. Rest In Peace, Helen. What I write here comes from what I've experienced in my life that I feel I can turn into poetry. Please, enjoy my writing, leave comments, criticism is welcome.

A piece of me. A place to open all my wounds and share my joy. All the poetry here is personal to me. Writing is an escape for me, and only through writing can I put my thoughts and emotions out into the world honestly. Each piece is dated, the day I wrote that poem or some day close to it. This is a poetic documentation of my life's journey so far as well as show my growth as a writer.
