New Normal
I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. Until I was introduced to an entirely new world or worlds that I wish I wasnt apart of but now its impossible to avoid.
The Only
I lost myself somewhere between space and time. I repeated my name over and over, refusing to leave myself behind. But the more I decintigrated, the more of myself I lost, until everything, my name, Timmy's smile, even my parents were forgotten. I found nothing but black space and white silence. The longer I stayed, however, the more vivid the colors became, and then they began to take shape. After what felt like hours, I was myself again, strapped to a chair with Jesse materializing in front of me. I'm Stasey. When the aliens attacked Earth, myself, my best friend Jesse, and my "friend" Timothy may have been the only people to survive. We're on a quest to find other survivors and potentially save our planet, but to do that we have to avoid being shot, eaten, or falling in love. The Rat King
My name is Nolan Moore and something special happened to me. Or at least that is what the psychiatrist calls it. I think it was disturbing, too horrific for words. What happened to me was something that keeps me up at night. Sometimes I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, even days. August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. Initially, the Intergalactic Chamber of the Universe granted Draco permission to follow through with his murderous plan. However, Earl stepped in and pleaded for humanity's relocation instead of their annihilation. You see Earl himself was earth born. Only as a teenager, did he discover his 5D abilities. He saw the progress humanity had been making. He knew they had learned from their past environmental failures. In his opinion, the people of Earth didn't have to die.
