From the beginning Valentina Cortez thought she was different, she always thought that she was destined for more than an average school girl. As she grew older that feeling became more apparent, until the day she disappeared. When Valentina returns 3 months later she has no memory of her disappearance, while also facing the mysterious disappearance of her father. Her mother is never around anymore and her brother Jason is either at work or in his room. When Valentina starts back at school things start looking up, but the arrival of one student will change her life forever.
