Not to mention her great-grandfather was also a Harbinger of the Companions. Maryse, however, has other plans for her future. She knows she doesn't want a life with the Companions and desires something more...suited to her talents. She's involved in a terrible accident in Riften and then an opportunity arises for Maryse to leave the Companions and take on a new life...but it's nothing like the one she expected. *** This is the second book after The Dragonborn Comes and I HIGHLY reccommend you read it before this. So, if you look up Farkas's skill stats, they might surprise you... On one of my Skyrim play-throughs, I did the thing where you drop a piece of armor near Farkas and then tell him he can have it when he asks, and that makes him available as a follower... so I took Farkas with me all over Skyrim even though I'd only started the Companion's quest line. That prompted me to look some things up and come up with a few head-cannons... So here's the story that I tried to make tie everything in my head together... "Farkas is intrigued when he meets a small imperial archer and is unexpectedly caught up in her adventures. As he learns more about her he soon decides he'll do everything he can to protect her... and that promise takes him places he never imagined he'd go; brings discoveries no one thought possible; and changes the course of everything..." Marked "mature" just to be safe, there is occasional foul language and graphic descriptions of cannon-typical violence, implied sexual content, and character death and grieving.
