What if everyone you loved remembered someone you never met-someone living in your house, wearing your clothes, and calling your parents "Mom" and "Dad"? Aeris thought she was an only child. At nineteen, her life is filled with late-night study sessions, small-town routines, and quiet dreams she's not sure she believes in. But everything changes the day she comes home from college and meets Ember-her so-called sister. Everyone swears Ember has always been part of the family. Photo albums, social media, even Aeris's childhood bedroom tell the same story: Ember was always there. But Aeris remembers a different truth-one where she was alone. One where Ember didn't exist. As Aeris searches for answers, she finds herself drawn to Gray, a sharp-witted psych major with a tragic past of his own. Together, they begin to unravel the impossible: memories rewritten, identities blurred, and a sinister presence that isn't just pretending to be family-it's replacing it. But when the truth begins to surface, Aeris will face a terrifying revelation: the stranger may not be Ember after all...
