Lucas Jedmeyer couldn't take the stress of his life, and he needed a break. His family was falling apart, and he was struggling in his 2nd grade class, he continuously got in trouble and could no longer hold his tongue. His family kept secrets from him, and he knew what his fate held. Until he found an unlikely escape, when he fell asleep it all seemed to drift away.

I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. Lucas Wesley was his hometown basketball star and he grew up well. According to his home town news paper, The Compton Tribune he was "going places." Except for Lucas never did. He got accepted and attends Ohio State. He spends his time now, wasting his basketball talent on girls, drugs and alcohol. The ghost of his past haunts him and he has never been the same after the mistakes he's made. Kate-Anna was a simple girl and she worked very hard to complete her community college early. She wanted to make a life for herself, one that she never had growing up. She has a rough past but it doesn't define her determination or her life. Don't leave me (billdip)
After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs.
