Once she is hired, she meets a boy named David Emmeret. Together they fall in love and nothing could stop their love. With David's dad being rich and popular, he is asked to take a more high classed job in Ottawa, Ontario. David doesn't want to leave Alberta and needs to find a way fast to convince his father to stay. If his father agrees to take the job, the Emmerets will move. If not, they'll stay and his father will remain in the job he has now. Mary Lynn and David will also stay together.
