The four towers guarding over the inner ring of the massive stronghold were the first thing travelers would see when riding up to the Grey city of Valier. It is held by an immortal race of men. These men, despite them not being bound to the fate of mortality, were not remotely similar to elves in their appearance. They were created by Manwë, Ulmo and Melkor on accident when their enourmous energies crashed, fused and birthed from bare rock, water, fire and air a living, breathing creature. Their appearance and temper was a reminder of their creation. Isolated from the folks of middleearth they lived a life amongst their own, hailing their creators and the Iluvatár as their highest gods. They were the only folk that still spoke the name of the forsaken Valar with worship in their hearts. I do not claim any ownership of the Lord of the Rings franchise. I simply use characters and setting for the purpose of entertainment. Please support the original work by watching the movies and reading the books. As many times as you can. Thank you.

How will they handle what they are and What will they choose? Will they fight for what they want or will they run away, hurting themselves and the ones they love? This is a fanfic. All of the credit goes to JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson. I don't own anything except Renee, Katherine and Lilith. Also this is my first fanfic so bare with me. You all know Merry Brandybuck yes? The hobbit who fell down the hill and landed on a carrot, Who joined the fellowship, who helped the Ents over run Isengard, Who became an esquire of Rohan? yeah that guy. Well this is a story involving him. It takes place just before they set out on their adventure to destroy the one ring and save middle earth. But this isn't just about Merry. There's another who you won't have heard of. Alora Headstrong is a young hobbit of the shire, Bywater to be more precise. She is the height of 3ft 6" and has short chocolate brown hair which is always curled perfectly. Her eyes are a deep blue/green colour and she is quite smart as you would say. Anyway, this is the story of how she find a new friend (Merry) while disobeying her father, over comes most of her fears and maybe, just maybe, finds the guy of her dreams. After meeting Merry 18 years prior, and then being forbidden from leaving the house on her own, Alora is given permission from her father to go to a party at the Green Dragon Inn. There she spots somebody who looks strangely familiar... After becoming friends, she soon finds herself falling for a guy. But two things stand in their way. Alora's Father and a bit of competition. This is the story of one of your favorite hobbit's crazy love life in the months before he becomes a hero. slight All Time Low hints in this :L just words that relate to a particular song thought. simply because i'm that cool guys! BTW I don't own any of the songs in this, don't hate me :L

And as the tenth member of the Fellowship of the Ring, she journeys with them to destroy the One Ring for good and rid the lands of Middle-Earth of the darkness and evil of Sauron, the very being her father fought over 3000 years prior. Where he fought at the start of the battle, his daughter will fight for the end. But through all this fighting and all this darkness and light; through being the ray of hope for everyone else, Allora finds a ray of hope for herself. A ray of hope that takes form in her Elvish companion, Legolas. Facing darkness from the likes of which she's never seen and feelings from the likes of which she's never felt, it's safe to say that this battle is going to be harder than any that Allora has ever fought before in her long life. Wish her luck because she will surely need it.
