Saving Melanie

16-year old Raye Vaughn and her fraternal twin sister Melanie are the same in looks, but different in life styles. Raye prefers a few close friends and always being together with them, but Melanie prefers a more wild life style; sneaking out to parties, drinking, smoking, and illegal driving. But one day, Melanie just isn't Melanie. She complains of pain constantly, and soon finds the smallest injuries having the biggest effects. Melanie goes to a doctor, and what that doctor tells her will change her life forever. Raye doesn't know what to do for Melanie- especially when the odds are that she's not going to survive.
