Scarlet aka Scar is the younger sister of Hisoka. They have different dads though. Scar's dad being part neko she was blessed with ears and a tail. She has pink hair like they're mother but gold eyes that change color with her mood, so she wears pink color contacts to hide them.

Hisoka takes her in when she turns 5 because their mother died. Hisoka takes her to the hunter exam the first year but he fails and tells her to continue and then the next year he enters again coming back with a hunter license.

When Hisoka returns they go to heavens arena and Scar meets these two boys Gon and killua. Who Hisoka had already known. While Hisoka seems to take interest in the niave innocent little Gon, scarlet thinks Killua is a bit more interesting.
