A young fox is separated from her family, during a stressful turmoil of events. When she comes to, she has lost her bearings along with most of her strength. In her search for her family, she only ends up furthering endangering herself and continues to get lost. She's too young to survive on her own.

During an intense storm, she seeks shelter while her energy continues to weaken. 

When she is all but ready to cave in to the dangers around her, a sound catchers her attention. In amoungst the downpour, and the thick tree cover, a flash of lightning illuminates a large, shadowy figure.
