Nineteen year old Zaethiel follows a tried-and-true routine. When Zaethiel and his brother, Astoerin, are selected to join a nonpareil group of knights to go after a bounty, he's ecstatic. And terrified. He hits the road with only one thought: revenge against the monsters that murdered his father. But when he trips over-literally-a small, enigmatic witch travelling with a demon of all things, his routine is thrown into chaos.
