A scientific experiment was once created to try and give humans improved speed and strength, which went terribly wrong and it ended up altering their DNA all together, hence creating a new species of human. It successfully worked on the people who got directly vaccinated so scientists vaccinated everyone who could afford it. Then they realised that people who had been injected were having genetically mutated children. Once the children reached a mature age, they were becoming rabid and killing people. They'd die soon after they've finished puberty because the human body couldn't cope with their new, artificial DNA. Eventually only the people who lived in extremely poor families survived because their parents couldn't afford to get the vaccination. Every city in the world was destroyed as certain countries that had not allowed the vaccination were blowing up the bigger cities as they were littered with rabid children. These cities were then forced to fight back. It was world war 3. But the people who were unfortunate enough to not die from the vaccine were killed in the war ... Alexandria is the last survivor, or so she thinks. Will she be able to learn to trust someone else with her life?
