You we're the girl survived from an explosion caused by Shadow Organisation (the organisation who's aftering Kid). Your mom is Toicchi's apprentice an the only witness of his death and no one knew if you're dead or alive. You've been taken care by Snake, the one who helps or maybe in the organisation, and became a spy for him as a payment for taking care of you. Your mission came to be spy Kaito kid and kill him after. But would you kill the boy you bumped and liked for years? What if Shinichi, came to be your neighbour, known your identity first before you finish your mission?
