Gerta is an ordinary student currently attending university. She feels at ease with her good friend and roommate, Eleanor and of course her writing. Gerta has a deep interest in books and anything fantasy related, having read many books containing stories of magic and bonds between humans and animals.

Only, she never thought that the stories may be real. She takes a liking to a specific book- one about two sisters, torn by the younger's gifted powers of fire and smoke.
She soon after meets a somewhat strange but kind girl, Alice holding unusual features with near-white hair and light eyes.

A bond is created between the two opposites, though Gerta swears to have known Alice once. But after the discovery of the novel, 'Torn', she finds herself under the pressure and confusion of strange dreams, visions that show her almost another person entirely in another world. But not only does discover her own doppelganger, but other selves of everyone she loved and cares about.

There are only a select few who know the truth..

Decades of wars and unrest have clawed at the sides of Pyrrhia's dragons for as long as they can remember, and the tales of true peace and dragonets of prophecy are simply whispers of the past. Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a prescient warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. That coupled with a newfound power in his claws leaves him spiraling and wondering one question: could 𝘩𝘦 be the terror of talons? ✦ Please read the introductory pages! They will be EXTREMELY informative for understanding the basics of Pyrrhia's situation and the timeline leading up to this story. Consider leaving a vote if you enjoy this story! Constructive criticism and other comments are always welcome.

All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: This takes place in a timeline where a school year has already passed without the whole Darkstalker drama. Everything else happend including Carnelians death and the whole Icicle being dream visited by scarlet which means scarlet is dead. Also the JW don't know about moons powers. (Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. Also warning that this book contains some cussing every now and then, currently working on getting rid of it. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.

For centuries, this country divided into the North, East, South, and Western Kingdoms has sheltered the most abnormal of inhabitants. Werewolves, Vampires, Necromancers and Witches make up only a handful of the citizens. Unnoticed by most, these purebred supernaturals have passed their powers through generations; but modern day science has changed everything. Some supernatural teens and young adults are part of a new experiment, the hybrids: paranormal beings, born out of the result of mixed genes. With Gene S in their DNA, they are given extraordinary gifts unheard of before in supernatural history. But with great power, comes great responsibility. In order to master their newfound abilities, both purebred and hybrid children alike must attend a Supernatural Boarding School. This includes Princess Mae, of the Northern Kingdom, a fifteen-year-old werewolf-shayman hybrid. When old enemies threaten the safety of the hybrid children, the government, under the banner of the Imperial Empire, finds themselves caught in a web of deceit. Their enemy will stop at nothing to get the Gene and some Imperial hybrids for experiments. So, when Mae just might hold the future of this feud in her hands, how will she cope?
