As the wolf howls the water ripples

Emere's life was normal.

For a mermaid at least.

She has always wanted to go on land and try out her legs that each mermaid and merman has. Her two best friends, Casey and Anique both get to go but Emere stays stranded in the ocean.

So when one night she goes out swimming in the full moonlight she doesn't expect to see a werewolf, a mermaids worst enemy.

But what seems like an unlikely encounter turns into much more and Emere is forced to deal with the fact that she might not be like all the other mermaids.

After all, she is the werewolf's mate.
