Will's parents expected him to go to college, his friends expected him to stay in touch, and his sports were all over without a scholarship.

After being faced with a choice, he decided he didn't just want a job, he wanted a purpose. He loved the world and he'd go to any lengths to protect it. In anime and comic books he'd seen examples of heroes, men and women with unparalleled speed and strength, and they'd chosen to use their powers for the good of the people. Since he was a young boy, Will had dreamed of becoming a hero.

Will wanted to be the strongest man alive, he always had. That feverish desire had driven him through sports in high school, and his coaches had known him to always give it his full effort.
