Nobody remembers the old clans. Instead, two new clans have been born from the ashes of the past: ColdClan, the sturdy and kind mountain dwellers, and HeatClan, the lithe cats living in the exposed plain below. For the previous year, the two clans have been in turmoil. StarClan has not sent any signs to either clan for as long as some can remember, and the threats of predators that each clan faces grow more intense with every passing heartbeat.
