Plot:
Rizziane and Jethro are best friends since pre school. Parehas silang mahilig sa sports and sa anime. They are very close to each other as if they are siblings.
When they reached the 10th grade, Jethro noticed that Ziane is no longer his boyish childhood best friend. Ziane has grown into a fine lady which is kind, pretty and smart. With that, the atmosphere between Ziane and Jethro became awkward.
Things will start to get complicated when Nicole makes moves to Jethro, making her his girlfriend. And Leo, a guy who looks exactly like Jethro, transfers to their school and develops feelings for Ziane.
Also, an angel named Siwon is trying to make Ziane an angel and take her away. Being a half human and half angel, Ziane is not allowed to use her angel powers. But for some reason, she used it to save a young boy from an accident. If Ziane agrees to become an angel, the people she knew will forget about her. If she stays as a human, she will disappear.
Will Jethro and Ziane stop being best friends? Will their friendship become stronger? Or will they finally realize that they're more than what they think they are?

But it turned out a short-lived infatuation cause no matter how hard he tried to shrug his feelings off for Sabinna, his lovelorn heart always find its way back to her. Infuriated upon knowing the whole thing between Zach and Loraine, Sabinna batted an eye to him leaving him no longer able to withhold. He showered her with love. But Sabinna on the other hand only took him for rebellion. They say, when someone leaves it only means someone else is about to come. I decided to text Lestat one day since I don't see him much. I've been sending forwarded messages for weeks before he ever replied. I told him a different name when he asked who I was. Days passed & I came to the point of asking... Me: Bakit me mga taong ngumingiti-ngiti kahit di ka naman kilala? Hindi ko alam kung nangungutya, nang-aasar, o ano. Nakakainis. Hello Roses! After a three year hiatus, I am finally back! To the readers of The Rose, I apologize for the not updating the story for a long time - really long time. I was busy at work and school, and so I had to postpone updating it. A family member of mine encouraged me to continue writing the story. She was delighted to see the positive comments you guys left, and no one appreciates it more than I do. It truly makes me happy! Now, I promise you that I will keep you updated with fresh chapters every week to keep the story going. I re-read the entire story, and I found out that there are a lot of things to improve(grammar, scenarios, plot), and so I decided to edit the entire story starting from the very beginning(this occupied most of my time). Yes, please feel free to re-read the story from the very beginning because a lot of scenarios were added for your convenience! :) I apologize in advance to the readers for the grammar/spelling/typo mistakes. No excuses, I am obviously not an expert! However, please feel free to message me for the corrections anytime, and I would gladly edit it.
