Remembrance - An Undertale Story-DISCONTNUED
Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. The barrier is broken, monsters and humans are living in peace, everyone is happy except for one person. Frisk has been getting waking nightmares about not saving Asriel. They want to save him to erase all guilt and to be with their friend. But Asriel isn't the only one that needs to be saved. Something, someone lurks inside Frisk's soul. Someone deadly and has a hunger for power, and can kill anyone they want. A/N Frisk and Chara are both gender ambiguous in this story. He had his optimistic, egotistical brother, Papyrus, his mysterious friend in the RUINs, Grillby, the bartender at his favorite place to stay, and many other buddies and acquaintances he'd made over time. But one day, when the friend from the RUINs makes a strange request of Sans, he couldn't help but give her his word and make a promise. However... When he sees the subject of his promise exit the RUINs- A strange, wayward, dust-covered human- Sans questioned whether he'd be able to stay true to his word.
