You know that feeling when your asleep, but you're awake? Like your eyes are closed and you're dreaming but you can hear and feel everything that's around your physical body. That's what it feels like being in a coma. It's darkness surrounding you, forcing you to sleep but you can hear everything. I don't know how long it's been like this for me, but I know I must be in a coma. I hear the beeps, the cries from what I assume is my family, the doctors using big medical words that I don't understand. I think they believe I will never escape this darkness .
