Kayla Janine West, or more preferably called "Kay" or "KJ", was the second daughter of Joe West and Francine West, along with being the twin sister of Iris West, and would one day be the sister of Wally West. Kayla was much different to her family, more mature and outspoken, along with being reckless and volatile. The culminated after the death of their mother, which ultimately weighed on the poor girl's mind until she was 18, where she packed her bags and left, leaving just a note for her family.
She went to Starling City.
For a while, she struggled in the glades, but a rare spot of luck ended making her good friends with a guy called Tommy Merlyn. He not only helped her, but cared and protected the already tough girl. Then, when rich playboy Oliver Queen returned to Starling, a series of events unfolded that led her to being trained into a vigilante by the man. Together, they began tackling the corruption plaguing Starling.
However, a blast from the past hits Kayla when her former close friend ends up in Starling. Barry Allen, the foster child of Joe West. After deliberation, Kayla eventually decided to return to her home of Central City with Barry, hanging up her hood for good.
