When Cassie finds her father crying in the dining room, she doesn't know what to think. Soon, she finds her brother, Mason, and herself trapped in a world where sending kids off to a completely different planet for three years to make the area "livable" for others is the norm and that there is no escape. If she doesn't succeed in preparing for the human race to inhabit the newly found planet, Planet X, all lives will be lost and blood will be on her hands. With the lead instructor of the Space Department dropping hints about the many deaths to come on the unknown planet, Cassie feels nervous and can't seem to stop worrying about her brother.

Between the grueling training sessions, inedible meals, and flirtatious encounters with the player, Hendrik, Cassie's only reprieve is her friend Claud, a French boy who understands her like no one else. But, one thing leads to another and she finds herself in the middle of a tangle of lies and betrayal.

Hailey is a Chaperon for her younger brother Alex's, class field trip to NASA. She finds a strange, out-of-place, spaceship on display, and drags her brother with her secretly to check it out. They come across an odd room, and after pressing a button they get teleported to the 93rd planet from the sun. They meet, brother and sister Kylo and Olexa the prince and princess of the planet. They are kind enough to let them stay with them until they figure out a way to get them back home. The people on that planet are normal for the most part, except for the fact that they are blue and have powers! It's hard enough getting used to staying on another planet but what makes things worse is that a war is about to break out between planet 93 and planet 39. This causes Hailey and Alex to be stuck there longer and get caught up with all the crazy things that happen because they're the only humans there. Their adventure includes: chaos, romance, betrayal, and loss, ultimately making them stronger people along the way.
