Conor, Ashley, Aleah, Franklin, and Wendell are in detention and HAVE to go on a field trip to the museum. When they get there, they see a book that is forbidden to touch.  But that night, they sneak into the museum,open the book, and release the vampire poodle and the poodle knocks the rest of the books down and the other monsters are released. Conor,Ashley,Aleah, Wendell and Franklin and have to team up with Abigail,her mom,and R.L Stine to get Slappy and his monsters back into the books.
