"There are lots of incredibly powerful people in Folia. Not all of them are heroes, but that doesn't automatically make the others villains."

~~~~~~
Folia: The only remaining nation on the planet. Surrounded by protective walls, a utopia-like government and most importantly, the Guardians -- people with extraordinary gifts and abilities who dedicate their life to Folia and her citizens.
But all good things come to an end, and Folia's prosperity crumbles as terrorist attacks from a group of rebels start destroying their home.
With no choice and stakes growing higher, the Agencies that run Folia form their first group of Guardians. They call this team Aegis -- the best of the best who will protect Folia from threats too large for normal Guardians to handle. The only problem is that they need members.
Miara, a young superhuman who dreams of becoming a Guardian, is presented with a great opportunity that will change her life forever.
Join her on an adventure unlike any other in the creation of Folia's first superhero group.
In a world ruled by disease, fear, and government control, survival is no longer a choice-it's a rebellion. After a virus devastates the population, the U.S. government uses the crisis to seize control, turning teenagers into test subjects in brutal experiments meant to create super-soldiers. Those who are captured vanish into labs where their memories are wiped, their bodies are altered, and their identities are erased. Those who escape are left with scars-and the crushing guilt of the ones they couldn't save. Artemis Cross was never supposed to be a leader. But when she's captured and stripped of everything she knows, she becomes Subject 88, forced into a nightmare of pain, injections, and psychological warfare. Her mind begins to fracture-but one memory refuses to die: Z, the boy who once held her together, the boy she can't forget no matter how deep they dig into her brain. Outside the walls, Z is haunted by her absence. He can't eat, sleep, or breathe without seeing her face. As he and a fractured group of survivors drive through a collapsing America-riddled with graffiti, riots, and people fighting to the death over scraps-Z promises he'll find Artemis, even if he has to tear the system down piece by piece. But the deeper they get into the truth, the more twisted it becomes. Friends begin to betray each other. Love starts to fracture. And the world they thought they knew is far more dangerous than they ever imagined. Because this isn't just about surviving the system anymore. It's about burning it to the ground.
In a modern city cloaked in wealth and silence, Medusa lives under the name Zena, hiding her mythic identity behind enchanted contact lenses and a quiet life as an artifact restoration specialist at a prestigious museum. Her hands mend broken relics, but her soul remains cold-scarred by betrayal, centuries of exile, and the cruelty of men. By night, she becomes something else. Her serpents awaken, her eyes burn with ancient fury. When she gazes upon a rapist, he doesn't just turn to stone-he crumbles into dust, erased from existence. No body. No evidence. No trace. Only silence. Only justice. Her targets are chosen by Lina, a survivor Medusa once saved. Lina is now a criminology student by day and works as a digital ghost by night, infiltrating encrypted forums and survivor networks to identify predators who hide behind power and privilege, through their digital software called SerpentSight. Together, they form a secret alliance-vengeance delivered in whispers. Then comes Alex-a demisexual visual artist with a shattered heart. Years ago, Alex was manipulated and emotionally abused. Now, Alex paints in solitude, exploring myth and memory, trying to reclaim his life. He meets Zena at the museum during an artist residency. Their connection is slow, built on shared silences, mutual respect, and the ache of survival. Alex senses something ancient in Zena-something dangerous, but also deeply human. As their bond deepens, Lina uncovers a predator embedded in the art world: a powerful gallery owner running a female human trafficking ring, using art shows as a front to exploit vulnerable women. Survivors are silenced, sold, and erased. Medusa must decide: strike again and risk losing her humanity, or let Alex help her rewrite the narrative through art, truth, and rebellion.
