This is a poem from when I was in a dark place. It isn't much, but it was what I felt then. I had added the second half only now to prove that things do get better. It's not perfect, but neither is life.

My whole life was a misery Still I tried hard to go through it I was a mess when I found you I found peace in you You were my everything but You chose someone else leaving me behind I was a mess but it seems like I am worse than a mess now. I wanted to make your life perfect but I couldn't I know you've gone through a lot But you never knew what I was going through I knew I wasn't perfect for you Still I tried to be by your side Taking an oath that I'll never leave you behind I wish you could ever understand me the way I understood you.
