America (formerly known as Alfred) is a second-year high school student who had just found out the worst of his worries; England (Arthur) has become the temporary principal of the school and had been chosen to fill in for that title until the school board could assign a newer principal. The school itself is just recovering from the disturbing events that occurred on a normal afternoon.
However, England seems a little more cold than usual. Will America be able to snap him out of it and remain lovers? Or will England have to break connections between them for the time being?

Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force.
