She danced down the alley, graceful, beautiful, like a ballerina in the pale moonlight. As she neared the road, passing by foe gave strange looks at the young girl before quickening their pace. This only made her smile brighter. Delicately, she brought her blood stained finger tips to gingerly glide along her lips, wiping away what red liquid remained. The glimmering of the moon caught her attention, smirking to herself she thought, "Who could love a monster such as I?" The moon was the only thing that gave this child of the night serenity in a world so cruel.
