During a akuma attack, Marionette's father is badly injured because of Ladybug, and has to be taken to the hospital. The doctors don't know if he will live, and Marionette blames herself. She knows how dangerous these emotions are, being easy prey for a akuma, and tries to keep them in check. But when Chloe decides to taunt her, she is pushed overboard and is akumatized, and it's up to Chat Noir to free her from it. But he can't cleanse the akuma and Ladybug knows him and how he fights. How can he battle someone he loves and who knows him so well? And more importantly, how can he free her from Hawkmoth's grasp?

But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place. The King and Queen had to move away from China when Marinette, their daughter, was born because of other duties that they had to do in Paris. 14 years later, Tom and Sabine drop the Princess bomb on Marinette and they have to leave to go to China to let them know that their daughter will be returning and will be the next Queen in line. Meanwhile, Miss Bustier has organized a trip to China for the week to see the Royal Families return and is offered to stay with them and have a meal to meet the princess. Marinette's parents knew about this and told Marinette. Marinette's parents also told Marinette could tell Alya and as she would be the lady in waiting. Hawkmoth follows the class to China blah blah blah akumatises people blah blah and then a huge ass fight goes down between Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Hawkmoth. Hawkmoth is defeated and Marinette's secret of her being ladybug gets out. Her parents are shocked and angry and happy at the same time but are worried for their daughter's safety.
