I am no princess, far from it actually. I don't live in a castle with a hundred maids awaiting my bid. I don't have paparazzi following my every move. I don't have a knight in shining armor to save me from the monsters in this world we live in either.
I believed that I was destined to this life of cruelty, that I deserved evey pain I got. I had Depression, I cut, I take pills, I go to a therapist, I have no friends, no father, a shell of a once loving mother. That was until he came into my life. My very own Knight in fading denim.

My mom brought the evil home with her and there was no escaping it. That's when I learned that fairy tales were just that: fairy tales. The bad stuff is real, though.
