Laith Wolf never knows the meaning of fear. She is, after all, the youngest person ever to be chosen as a Reclaimer. In Thaen, one of the richest nation here on Earth, that's a big deal. But when your country most lucrative business is bio-robotic body parts and organs rent, trouble never strays far. When a string of brutal cases that targets the renters keep resurfacing, she has no choice than to stick her nose into it.

Enforcer Arden Rush never wants to get involved in the first place. His only goal is and always will be to live a moderate simple life. He work hard and play easy. That is, until one simple misstep landed him a position as Laith special designated temporary partner.

Come along what may, they must put aside their personal feelings in order to untangle knots of lies, secrets and cover ups. In the midst of all this insanity, can they put enough faith on one another to survive, and perhaps in doing so, found love?

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. "The way he stiffens stirs something in me. Guilt maybe? I still might not be aware of what I've done, but I do know I don't regret doing it. So how is this man making me feel guilty with just a glance? The past is the past, but right now he's the enemy." After the devastating Carpa Malum killed 70% of the population, the world was left in disarray. Elders gone and children dead, and their remaining families left in the hands of a tyrannical government run by blood lust. A handful of the survivors, however, were found out to possess powers others could only dream to have. Castelle has little left to live for, wiling away her days in the slums of Trinity Central, but after being discovered, death isn't an option. She's taken in to fight for the government she's always loathed while a quiet rebellion starts to simmer in the streets. Thinking she knows what side she belongs to, her opinions of both are keen to change. Battling morals, friends, love, and herself, watch as Castelle fails to remember the word "justice".
