It's been ten years since Sebastian Michaelis was cheated out of his contract with his young lord. This amount of time does not measure to the eternity of their fateless existences in a world of mortal humans. This unfortunate situation does not halt the demon duo from keeping themselves known around specifically under the code names "Phantom" and "Ghost."

Sebastian and Ciel find themselves in Manhattan, 1899, confronted with a neighborhood case. A local bakery, a mysterious disappearance, too many tracks leading to the same destination with strange witnesses to top it off. The young master finds himself faced with the shadows of his own past, memories he had figured had gone long ago with the rest of his old self that are coming back to haunt him.
Friends, foes, and a bloody genocide await the pair in the first novel of the Phantom & Ghost saga.
