For a thousand years an amulet of supernatural properties has lain dormant in the guarded hands of archeologists  and museum curators, until one day it is accidentally set free in a battle against an Akuma and claims a certain blonde haired, green eyed boy as it's new owner. Scared and confused, Adrien keeps this secret to himself even though Ladybug and Chat Noir have been recruited by the museum staff to find the person the artifact has claimed. As time passes, Adrien's lies pile up, ultimately hindering his job as Chat Noir and his relationship with Ladybug.  Now he has a decision to make:  continue the life he had before or embrace yet another side to himself that he never imagined could have existed.

He shrugged and sat on the floor near her, staying clear of the train on the dress. "I actually needed a girl's advice." She raised her brow quizzically. "Okay... what does the 'ladies man' need to know?" Referencing the most recent interview he did. "Oh, come on. I didn't expect them to keep that part in the interview." She giggled. "It was funny, I'm glad they kept it in." He flicked her exposed leg through the dress slit. "Okay, but I just had a question about Ladybug." Marinette swallowed hard at the mention of herself. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be hearing this because she was Ladybug. "Okay, shoot it." He bit his lip, maybe unsure how to word it. "Well... I kinda tried to court her for at least the last 7 months. She didn't accept it, and I finally accepted that myself... but I guess my question is why she might not have wanted me. I'm sorry, I'm not even sure you could answer that... It just seems like Ladybug trusts you, so maybe she mentioned something to you?" -- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a usually stubborn, headstrong girl, finally gives up on liking Adrien Agreste. He can't seem to take the hint, and she can't seem to conjure the confidence just to tell him. Chat Noir, a superhero who's able to charm any girl in his double life AND civilian form, can't seem to charm the one girl he wants: Ladybug. Everything is normal, yet everything is not. He lives through each day, unknowingly finding out more and more about his father, and who he loves. As time goes on, both of them start to find comfort in each other- not for the love they share, but for the comfort they give. Soon, they realize that they've fallen for two people at once, unbeknownst to them that those two are one. What if the answers to their confusion were right underneath their noses?
