My father passed away when he joined the military in Iraq. I thought he will come back but everything I wish for somehow doesn't end up as I want it to be but much worse. We had our own house but my mom didn't have enough money to keep up with the bills. We now "live" here; in the park. Always holding our hands together hoping for a hope to change our lives. If just someone could see an innocent young woman with a young daughter. I'm not that young myself. I'm 13. My name is 'Amelia Rose Carpenter' and my mom is Hillary Carpenter. My father, rest in peace, was called Jeff Carpenter. He was a hero of many people and especially mine. My fathers "friends" haven't asked us if we need help. And whenever they see us they just walk away, not offering any money or even anything.
But I'll try my best to get a house, help my mom and get education!
