"How was the wedding, Miss Sharma? Did you enjoy it?"
His voice dripped with sarcasm, the bitterness barely concealed beneath the formal address.
"Yes, Sir. The wedding was good."
Piya responded with practiced professionalism, her tone calm and composed. But the edge in his voice didn't go unnoticed. Her restraint only fueled his fury.
He stepped closer, his eyes darkening.
"Not hard to believe, is it? After destroying someone's life, you're out there enjoying yours."
The words struck her like a blow. Pain flickered across her face, raw and unguarded. She opened her mouth, her voice trembling.

"SHUT UP!"
His voice thundered through the cabin, reverberating off the walls. She instinctively stepped back, startled by the sudden outburst.
He closed the distance between them, gripping her shoulder tightly, his anguish spilling over.
