This book is about a girl called Carly Henderson aged 10 years old, is supposed to go to camp with her best friend Madeleine Jones (Maddy) but Maddy gets sick in the last minute and doesn't turn up at the camp. Carly is forced to stay with a girl called Susan who Carly calls Sour Susan. Let's see how the four weeks of camp go without her best friend Maddy.
