SECOND DRAFT: Hard Bank Left
I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. Hello!! My name is Gwen, and I want to share all my crazy life stories, from love to adventure and even a little bit of horror. I have never told anyone any of these, so I think it might be fun to share them with you guys and get to know if you have experienced anything like I have. I really hope you like them and enjoy them. These stories are 100% true (even though it may seem hard to believe at times), so the names have obviously been changed. If your name appears in one of my stories, it's purely coincidental. I hope you like it and can have fun sharing stories. (BTW, this also serves as a diary to help internalize and process many things in my life. It's a safe place where I can express my opinions and thoughts, which I sometimes don't say out loud for different reasons. Also, beware. There will be a lot of invented random words, crazy writing, and some curse words, but nothing too serious. It's a small glimpse into my mind to just have fun).
